In the Codex, not in the game data yet

Chapters

At a glance

The Facets get one spell in every role, since each of their spells is hard to draw. The Evane cover every role between their five factions, so an…

Attack

Five ways to hurt: a quick hit (Gale), a heavy hit (Coil), several small hits (Squall), damage over time (Wither) and a delayed blow (Toll). Tally…

Defence

Three answers to an incoming hit: absorb some of it (Brace), absorb more of it (Facet Seal), or dodge it (Drift). Facet Seal is unchanged from the…

Healing

A quick heal (Mend), healing over time (Root), a cleanse (Calm) and the strongest heal, which is Facet (Table Mend). That matches the lore: the…

Assist

Assist spells make the next casts better rather than doing anything themselves. Hasten is the one that matters most for mastery: a longer breath…

Control

Control spells work on the enemy's clock: knock it back (Repel), slow it (Linger), silence its special attacks (Hush), or stop it outright (Prism…

Spells

Spell Book (Prototype)

The casting prototype ships eight spells, five Evane and three Facet. Repel, Coil, Gale and Facet Seal came first, one per drawing style; Brace, Mend, Bevel Lash and Prism Snare are the first batch from the Spell Set tab. Each lives in its own data file (Assets/StreamingAssets/Data/Spells/<id>.json), and the scorer checks exactly what this table describes. Shapes are written as the player sees them on a landscape phone; "outward" means toward that thumb's screen edge.

Stroke direction is part of the spell: an L drawn from the bottom up, or a Repel drawn with both thumbs as the same (unmirrored) L, does not cast. Size is the longer side of the drawn shape; drawing 1.5x too big or too small costs about half the size score. Every spell must be learned before it can be cast; a well-drawn unlearned spell fizzles with "You have not learned …".
