What happens: the bell tower has no bells, and something in it has been repeating the monks' signs back wrong. The echo glint copies the player's last spell and casts it back at them one turn later. Calm (Wen taught it at the listening stone) clears what it lands; the trick is to cast cheap spells for it to copy. After the fight Wen teaches Hush and Echo, hand over hand, and then asks a favour in signs: carry a letter to Lanternfall. The Still Choir is the one faction that quietly trades letters with the Facets. If the player has already met Iver, Wen's letter is addressed to Sorrel the unbinder.

Art and audio: the bell tower with empty bell frames, frost on the beams. Echo glint model: a thin glint that shows the player's own silhouette, mirrored. A delayed-echo effect on the player's own cast sounds.

[ ] 28. The naming lists. Story Bible § 7 gives Veil (Still Choir), Slip (Waymakers), Crown Ward and Culet Spike (Facets) as examples. The roadmap uses none of them: the Choir has Hush, Echo, Calm and Listen; the Waymakers Gale, Drift, Squall and Tailwind; the Facets Facet Seal, Bevel Lash, Prism Snare, Crown Surge, Table Mend, Girdle Gate and Pavilion Wake. Recommendation (new): swap the § 7 examples for roadmap spells, and keep Veil, Slip, Crown Ward and Culet Spike as spare names for later warp-born glyphs. [ ] 45. Shape changes. Accept the new Squall, Echo, Tailwind, Root and Hasten shapes, and update the Spell Set tab? Recommendation: yes, since the old shapes collide. Sources: spell-roadmap.md Q10.

From Walkthrough: Act 4 › Open questions for Ray, all tabs › Spells and casting

Characters: Wen teaches Calm, Listen, Hush and Echo; Dace shows Tempest, Headwind in route B, Tailwind; Ondine teaches Weigh if guarded (internal slip O; VEL-63 spell schedule)

From Walkthrough: Act 4 › Continuity notes › Change log

Echo: glyph kind reflected → taught; Learned still pool → Wen hand over hand with Hush after the echo glint fight (VEL-63 schedule: taught, not reflected)

From Walkthrough: Act 4 › Continuity notes › Change log

Changes from the Spell Set tab: new-spells bullet explains the 20 + 6 + 1 = 27 count; new Echo bullet (14 → 12 mm; still taught by Wen); Brace bullet → Aske at the ferry, settled; Acts bullet → Bevel Lash usually Act 3 (Echo change was missing; Brace settled)

From Walkthrough: Act 4 › Continuity notes › Change log

Living things rot, glass doesn't. Tender decay (Wither) and growth (Coil, Root) work in full on animals and plants, and at half strength on pure glass. Sound and stillness (the Still Choir's Hush, Calm and Echo) work on anything that sings, chants or casts.
