From Walkthrough: Prologue and Act 1 › Prologue: The Door-Mark (as built) › Scenes
What happens: Before the glints, the village is uneasy: no eels, the river climbing with no rain, Marra's freshly painted door-mark, Fenn pushing hard on a chalk door-mark that never does anything. After the glints, everyone saw the river go flat and is talking about the protagonist's door. After the send-off they say goodbye; Marra takes the hens, Fenn has chalked a door-mark on every fence post to the ferry.

Who: Marra Hesk, Tobin, Fenn (if Fenn walked back); Aske's ferry, tied up on the far bank.
From Walkthrough: Act 2 › Chapter 5: The Midpoint Choice › The mending guard at the Sallow warp
What happens: the player's home, with the warp's glow on the water at night. Marra has been minding the hens and feeds the player. Tobin says the Drowned Choir has stopped humming. Aske's ferry is on the far bank and stays there; Aske doesn't come over. The player can walk to the landing and look across. (Idea) If the player shouts across, Aske answers with one line: "Further back than you think."
